I think we in New York are pushing the envelope.

I see that there's an item in one of the local bar/event rags 
announcing a weekly event at *Cake* -- a new bar in the East 
Village.  Every week (on Sundays, I believe) there's an Easy Bake 
Oven bake-off and decorating contest.

The Millenium approaches ....
